Garment Care

Every Astarala outfit is made with the finest fabric, intricately embroidered with attention to details. To ensure that the delicacy and softness of your garments are maintained, please follow the following instructions:

Hand Wash

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent.

Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the embroidered areas to prevent damage.

Do not soak for an extended period. This can lead to color bleeding and damage the delicate threads.
Press, Don't Wring

Gently press the water out of the garment; do not wring it.

Lay the garment flat on a clean, dry towel to air dry.

Avoid hanging Chikankari garments, as the weight of the water can distort the fabric and embroidery.
Ironing

If needed, iron the garment on a low setting, preferably while it's still slightly damp.

Place a cloth over the Chikankari work to protect it from direct heat.
Storage

Store Chikankari garments in a cool, dry place.

Avoid hanging them for long periods, as this can lead to stretching.
